  2. Click Future Team Members.
  3. Click Medical Plan Cost Modeler
  4. Enter the code the Recruiter gave you. If you do not have the access code, reach out to your recruiter.

What to Wear

While you wait for your company-funded uniforms, here are some general dress code guidelines. For more details, check out the link below.

  • Business Casual Pants and skirt options for team members (excluding pharmacy technicians) are as follows:
    • Pants that are solid black, solid gray, or solid tan.
    • Skirts that are knee-length or longer, may be worn if they are solid black, solid gray, or solid tan.
    • Pants and skirts made of fabrics such as cotton, wool, or polyester blends are permitted. Pants and skirts that contain blue jean or denim fabric are not acceptable. As a general rule, team members can wear their choice of the following: clean, solid white or solid black athletic shoes or closed-toe dress or business casual shoes, unless specifically excluded in the Store Dress Code Guideline for the team member's position.
  • Store non-leadership team members (Front-End) are to wear a solid color light blue, gray, white, or similar color polo shirt
  • Store leadership and pharmacist team members are to wear a solid color light blue, gray, white, or similar color button down shirt
  • Pharmacy team members (technicians & designated hitters) are to wear a solid color light blue, gray, white, or similar color polo shirt
  • All team members must wear their name badge above the waist at all times while on duty
  • Name badges must include team member name and position code

HERO Program

The HERO program merges the opportunity to continue to enhance your leadership experience in the civilian world, while pursuing a bachelor’s degree to help you achieve your educational goals!


Your HERO journey will include:

  • New team member and program support with Walgreens leaders
  • On-the-job mentorship with Walgreens leaders
  • LEAP Program Retail Management Training: Gain the knowledge, training and tools you need to succeed. Part of Walgreens University, our award-winning and college credit-eligible LEAP program fully prepares you to Lead, Engage, Advance, and Perform as a Walgreens Assistant Store Manager


Tuition Savings at Southern New Hampshire University

Walgreens has also partnered with Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) to provide the opportunity for all Walgreens HERO program participants to earn their bachelor’s degree. Your professional and educational development is important to us. That is why we have partnered with SNHU, an accredited leader in online learning for working adults. Through our partnership you will be eligible for HERO Program on SNHU degree and certificate programs.

To learn more about the education benefits available at SNHU and, please visit http://www.snhu.edu/walgreenshero and fill out the form on the page. Upon receipt of the form, an SNHU military admission counselor will contact you to start the conversation about your future. Together you will discuss enrollment options and an ideal timeframe to begin your program of interest.


Pharmacy Referral Program

​The pharmacy referral program allows you to earn a bonus when you refer a pharmacist to Walgreens.


Walgreens team members can get rewarded for referring candidates to open pharmacy intern graduate (PHIG), pharmacist, or pharmacy manager positions in any retail or specialty pharmacy location. Eligible team members can receive a bonus of up to $5,000* for each eligible referral.​
